Template notice. These are sample terms for the WebTrust OS prototype. They are a starting template, not legal advice. Have your own terms reviewed by qualified legal counsel before relying on them.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using WebTrust OS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The service

WebTrust OS provides automated website analysis, scores, educational comparisons, and recommendations across privacy readiness, search readiness, trust and conversion, tracker transparency, and technical health. The service is informational and educational in nature.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scan websites you do not own or are not authorized to assess;
  • use the service to violate the rights of others or any applicable law;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
  • resell or redistribute the service except as expressly permitted by your plan.

5. Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plan features or pricing with reasonable notice. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. Intellectual property

WebTrust OS and its content, software, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the website data you submit; you grant us a limited license to process it to provide the service. Reports you generate are yours to use within your business and with your clients.

7. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” WebTrust OS does not warrant that results are complete, error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Scores, signals, and recommendations are educational and do not certify legal compliance or guarantee search engine rankings.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebTrust OS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising from your use of the service.
